For special event of any kind, The Sunset offers several different rooms depending on your event needs.  Our ocean views and understated décor are apparent throughout, allowing you to customize our rooms according to your desires.  It would be our pleasure to help you host your Rehearsal Dinner / Lunch, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Filming, or any other private gathering.

In addition to amazing sunsets and ocean views, we have lots of Dolphin sightings and sometimes even Whales.

Room Capacity: We have private rooms that accommodate up to 30, 35 and 70 people. If over 70 then it becomes a restaurant buyout. We also have a private patio that sits up to 36 people.

Wedding Receptions, Bridal Parties, and Bachelor / Bachelorette Parties

You can have it all – a romantic setting, delectable cuisine, and gracious service – at The Sunset Restaurant.  Set against the Malibu bluffs just steps away from Zuma Beach, The Sunset is housed in an updated classic beach bungalow.  The two-story restaurant breathes with space and light thanks to its expansive front windows overlooking the Pacific.

Celebrate your wedding reception, bridal party and/or bachelor / bachelorette party right at the beach at The Sunset Restaurant. Other elements further enhance this idyllic setting: sailboats drift across the horizon… the sound of the waves. Live music is allowed indoors only if it’s a buyout.  Your guests are entranced, and the private party has only just begun.

Corporate Events

Corporate events can be fun and productive at The Sunset as we provide an ideal setting for events, seminars, team building activities, and dinners.  Our rooms overlook the ocean and also offer a conventional board room with full catering and an atmosphere that motivates and relaxes.  Our private dining rooms are also perfect for smaller meetings, luncheons, holiday parties, or company dinners.
